DIGITAL MARKETING

Wac Arts

Wac Arts are a performing arts organisation in North London. During lock down they launched an online programme of activities and approached me to support them to reach new and existing audiences. I proposed an overall marketing strategy across digital channels to encourage sign up and raise awareness of the programmes. I am producing content and writing copy for their social media channels and email marketing.

ASM GLOBAL VENUES

 Ticketmaster UK

In my current role at Ticketmaster UK I account manage multiple ASM Global venues across the UK. I act as an extension of their marketing team, supporting key campaign messaging across venue channels and creating proactive campaigns across Ticketmaster channels. These content campaigns cover the stories of the venue, aiming to generate secondary spend within the venue and sell tickets across music, theatre, comedy and sport. Working with internal content, CRM, social and tech teams, I provide insights and reports from Ticketmaster activity to inform their spend across own and Ticketmaster channels.

TOURS & FESTIVALS

Ticketmaster UK

From launch through to the event, I work with various promoters including AEG, Live Nation and IMG on long tail campaigns to ensure events have presence on Ticketmaster channels throughout the on sale period. I provide insight from analytics reports to inform spend on ads, create content to continue telling the story of the festival or artist and also creative ways to support the secondary revenue streams of up-sells, merchandise, VIP experiences and other add ons experiences to the standard ticket. I ensure events I manage are included in umbrella Ticketmaster campaigns that have presence across Ticketmaster channels as well as ad spend across digital and outdoor.

MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

ALEXANDRA PALACE

Kaleidoscope Festival 2019  campaign launched in February, with the event taking place in July. I was part of a small team working with producers brainstorming ideas for food concepts, local youth arts collectives, immersive theatre shows, comedy and  music.
Being part of this process fed in to content marketing ideas and telling the story of the event. The content marketing included  sneak peak videos of immersive theatre, acoustic sessions, workshops, interviews and competitions.
Managing budget and timeline, I briefed video producers, photographers, web designers, social media agency, media spend and in house designer all as part of a 7 month campaign period resulting in selling over 35k tickets, a huge triumph for year one of an independent music festival with no huge promoter backing.

LONDON'S OLDEST NEW THEATRE

ALEXANDRA PALACE

For 80 years, Alexandra Palace Theatre was closed to the public. After a huge restoration, I had the task of creating a campaign to tell the history and future story of this space to a London audience.

Working with a creative agency, the tag line 'London's Oldest New Theatre' was created, focusing on the emotive legacy element of the space.

Working with our video agency, illustrator and media agency I managed a campaign telling the story of the history and restoration, focusing on a local audience and putting the theatre on the London map as a destination. Following the launch and 'establishing' campaign, we launched campaigns to promote the opening programme of events. We sold out our first 8 weeks of shows, proving to customers and industry we were strong competition to the west end.

FIREWORKS FESTIVAL

ALEXANDRA PALACE

Live music, DJ sets, circus shows, kids shows, a beer festival, a laser show and the epic 20 minute display itself means Fireworks Festival is one hell of an event to promote, selling 90k tickets over two nights.

The on sale campaign would be year round, going on sale with early bird tickets straight away after the event finished. I managed the campaign timeline and budget that stretched across promotion videos with variations to focus on certain content, digital display campaigns, social media campaigns, outdoor creative, affiliation promotions with local business and railway companies, and media partnerships with London-centric publications.

I was on the ground at the event itself. I managed photography and video crew capturing content as well as TV, bloggers and press covering the event. This close proximity to promotion as well as production gave me key insight into logistics of live events and festivals.

REBRAND

ALEXANDRA PALACE

From grime gigs to ice skating - briefing creative agency Lovers to create a new identity for Alexandra Palace was a challenge. The venue has huge history, but we wanted it to be established and hold a place in the present day. We created a font, colourway, tone of voice and image style guidelines to create a more playful rounded brand identity to represent everything the venue was about.

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY

SAVE THE CHILDREN UK

Children's charity Save the Children mark 13th December each year as Christmas jumper day - a fundraising initiative to raise funds for their work, encouraging schools, offices, TV presenters and more to wear a Christmas jumper and raise money doing so.

As part of the brand team, I worked with artist liason managers on a partnership with lifestyle brand Selfish Mother.  A line of specially curated jumpers were produced and ambassadors of the charity helped in the promotion. I supported coordinating photo shoots, talent and liaised with agents of over 50 ambassadors ensuring they were supporting the initiative onsocial media channels.

I worked with in house designers on producing assets for Save the Children channels such as retail print, PR, email and social.

GLOBAL REBRAND

Save the Children

The UK Brand team for Save the Children worked alongside the US and Germany teams on a global rebrand, uniting the brand identity and guidelines across all 29 countries for the first time.

I was part of the small brand team rolling out the new brand in the UK across in house design teams, external agencies, all staff and retail outlets. I trained 60 brand champions across the organisation through a series of workshops, templates and specific guidelines, as well as being a main contact for brand sign off during the implementation phase.

HOLLYOAKS X DOMINOS

LIME PICTURES

Being part of the Brand Partnerships team at Lime Pictures meant that we had great access to cast to sell in to potential sponsors. We really maximised the access to the set and cast when delivering Dominos sponsorship of Hollyoaks.

Working with Channel 4 and Dominos directly, we produced the key bumper idents, cast specific videos, fan competitions and experiences, Hollyoaks x Dominos meal deals and a huge amount of social media content, specific with focus on Snapchat. The sponsor was incredibly impressed with this 360 approach delivering strong exposure for the brand to a key age 18-24 audience.
